Hey everyone, I will be appearing at SPRINGCON 2014!
SpringCon, in case you don’t know, is a gigantic double issue comic book celebration on May 17th & 18th from 10AM to 5PM both days. It is held at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds in the Grandstand at 1265 Snelling Avenue in Saint Paul. Tickets are available at the door and run only $12 per person with children 9 and under getting in on the fun for FREE! Oh, and you can get $1 offadmission if you show up with something for the local Food Shelf.
Here’s a look at the new pins and magnets that will be on sale at my table. The logo buttons/magnets will have a black background and the logo will be slightly more rounded to fill the area on the surface more evenly. I also have a bunch more copies of “Sa-Bom Jim Volume One” ready to buy. Can’t wait for May 17-18th!
You may have also heard there’s another big comic convention in the Twin Cities just before SpringCon. That is a pretty expensive, commercial convention. SpringCon, however, is a nationally recognized, locally crafted, all volunteer event run by a wide variety of people that work in and love the world of comic books. Folks, SpringCon is the real deal, so make sure you come on out and join the fun, meet all sorts of artists – particularly indie comic artists like me to whom that other convention won’t give the time of day – and buy all sorts of cool stuff. Check out the flyer below for details.
